Holly joined the Roundhouse family in 2015 as an aquarist intern. She became an on-call staff member in Feburary 2016 and is now the Saturday operations manager. She also helps out as a part time aquarist and educator. Holly is currently studying for her BS in Biology with a concentration in Marine Science from California State University, Fullerton. When she isn’t coaxing people to touch echinoderms at the aquarium, Holly loves to explore the coastline. Her favorite spot to visit is Abalone Cove in Palos Verdes, where there’s hiking trails and tide pools. What Holly enjoys most about her job is being able to interact with the public. She is so appreciative to be able to share the knowledge she’s gained with others, especially kids. Whether it be through dissections, puppet shows, or powerpoint presentations, she loves being able to educate young students about our oceans and the animals that inhabit them. You can find Holly every Saturday at the aquarium, holding sea stars and sharing fun facts.
