Tony is a natural naturalist! His passion radiates from a deep love of studying nature. He is currently a student earning his degree in Anthropology. Tony has been a member of the Roundhouse team since 2007, when he was a humble volunteer. As each successive year passed, he became more and more adept at speaking to the public, managing the volunteers, and monitoring the condition of the tanks and animals. He is now a paid employee who oversees the Aquarium on Sundays. When Tony isn’t at the Roundhouse kissing sea cucumbers, he’s excavating dinosaur fossils for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. He is extremely grateful to be in a position where he’s able to share his passion for nature with not only the guests, but also the volunteers he supervises. If you ever find yourself at the Manhattan Beach Pier and have a question about marine biology, don’t be afraid to ask Tony.
