About the Roundhouse


Stop by and experience the wonders of our local marine life!

Located at the end of the Manhattan Beach Pier, the Roundhouse Aquarium serves as Oceanographic Teaching Stations’ (a 501(c)3 non-profit) educational facility. Inside are both viewing and touch tanks each displaying a brilliant selection of marine fish and invertebrates! There’s also a kid’s area with books and puzzles.

Public Hours

Labor Day to Memorial Day:

Mon-Fri: 2PM – 5PM
Sat-Sun 10AM – sunset

Memorial Day to Labor Day:

Mon-Fri: 2PM – 8PM
Sat-Sun: 9AM – 8PM

Non-public hours are dedicated to teaching classes and maintenance. (hours subject to change due to weather, pier closures, and private events) Please “like” us on Facebook for up to date changes on our hours or activities

Cost

The Roundhouse is FREE! However, your donations allow us to operate this wonderful facility. Donations of $2.00 per person and $5.00 per family are suggested.

Parking

Metered parking is available at the base of the pier for $1.25 per hour (bring quarters).
