Coastal Cleanup Day Details
Check-in will begin at 9AM on the beach and be aware that city/beach parking is metered and limited. We are thrilled to celebrate the 35th annual Coastal Cleanup Day with you!
Look for our canopies and teardrop flags. We ask that you check in with your signed waiver printed OR show staff a confirmation email after you digitally signed a waiver. Minors will need a signature from a legal guardian. We will have a few waivers on site for folks who need it. Check-in station will be on the sand, on the north side of the pier near the public restrooms. After check in, all participants will listen to the safety talk and head to the supply station for supplies! Be sure to turn in your bags of trash and data cards to our weigh station up on the pier by the lower parking lot. All of our trash data is given to the California Coastal Commission every Coastal Cleanup Day!
We will be providing a bag, pencil and data card, per team and 1 glove per person at the supply station. However, we encourage everyone to bring their own reusable supplies to minimize waste. We will describe the cleanup areas at the safety talk station. Be sure to wear protection from the sun and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated!
Thank you and see you on Coastal Cleanup Day!
