Crystal Knizewski

Crystal joined the Roundhouse as an interpretive volunteer in the summer of 2021. Near the end of the summer, she joined the SLS team and began going on outreaches. In the fall, she began her senior year of college at Cal Poly Pomona and worked remotely with the Roundhouse, creating social media posts and updating the tank and life support system guides.

After graduating with a B.S. in General Biology, she joined the Roundhouse team as a staff member. Currently you can find her teaching classes, running our social media accounts, or doing aquarist work, like diving into the kelp forest tank to clean it. She enjoys connecting students with the ocean and getting to work with the animals.
