Zoe Allen
Zoe has participated in marine focused classes since the age of six and has volunteered as a naturalist since the age of ten. This passion for the ocean led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in marine biology from California State University, Long Beach, which she completed in 2017.
Zoe joined the Roundhouse team in April of 2019 as a Student Education Assistant. Her main duty is teaching the classes that the aquarium offers for school children. She also works at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, where she has been an educator since 2015. In 2018 she worked with AltaSea to develop a sustainable aquaculture curriculum that would be taught to students at the Boys and Girls Club of the LA Harbor. She has taught the curriculum twice since then. In her spare time, she likes to snorkel, stand up paddleboard, hike, fish and play with her cat.
